Shaykh Ismael Essa 

Interim Imam - Leading Prayers

Sh. Ismael has been teaching Qur'an to kids, youth and adults for over 20 years.  He specializes in Qur’anic Sciences and the ten recitations.  He is a graduate of Al-Azhar.   He holds many Ijazaat with connected Sanad to the Prophet (pbuh) for both teaching and recitation of the Qur'an. 

Shaykha Abeer Mahmoud Mohamed

Religious Scholar

Sh. Abeer is an avid Islamic scholar with a deep interest in Qur’anic studies. Her highest achievement is her attainment of Ijaazah in the Ten Qira’at of the Qur’an, certified by the Honorable Al-Azhar University.

Imam Fode Drame

Imam Fode Drame is a prolific author, linguist, Quranic Exigist, teacher, father, international speaker, and is at the forefront of a number of community initiatives. He established Zawiyah Foundation in Vancouver, BC, in 2005, a non-profit charity founded on his vision for humanity.

Dr. Abdulhakim Mohamed

Dr. Abdulhakim earned his Bachelor's in Shariah (Islamic Law) from University of Medina and holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Philosophy.  He is a third generation American of Yemeni descent who grew up in Detroit and has been an Imam in NYC, Detroit, Nashville & Forth Worth.
